How is debt-to-asset ratio calculated?
When total assets are greater than zero: total liabilities ÷ total assets, shown as a percent.
Should I use home market value or equity?
Either can work if you are consistent. Using full market value with the full mortgage balance is common; using equity only and zero mortgage also works. Do not double-count.
